One of the kingpins of illegal oil bunkering and pipeline vandalism in Ibaa community in Emohua local government area recently declared wanted by the governor of Rivers State, Mr Fubara Ohaka has been apprehended by the police.

Fubara Ohaka who is also suspected to be a major sponsor of a dreaded cult group in Ibaa community and its environs was picked up at his PortHarcourt residence following a reliable information on his return to Rivers State after months of disappearance after he was declared wanted by the state government months ago.

Recall that Mr Fubara Ohaka was one of those who were fingered by the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd in the fight against illegal petroleum refining and oil bunkering activities in the local government area following a marching order given to all council chairmen to investigate and submit the names of the perpetuators of illegal artisanal petroleum refining and oil bunkering activities which has been identified as the main cause of soot pandemic in Rivers State.

Fubara Ohaka has been on the run since he was declared wanted alongside three other from Emohua local government area but reportedly sneaked into the state over the weekend to pursue his political ambition to contest for the Emohua constituency seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
