P&G Donates Humanitarian Package to Government to Combat Covid-19 in Ekiti

The Coordinator of Ekiti Task Force on COVID-19, Prof. Bolaji Aluko (2nd left) alongside the General Manager of Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Mr. Jide Borode (1st right) and other members of the taskforce, at the official handover of over 20,000 Safeguard soaps, 36,000 Ariel detergents, and over 130,000 Pampers diapers by Procter & Gamble to the Ekiti State Government to support the state’s efforts against COVID-19.

 

Procter & Gamble (P&G), a manufacturing company that commenced operations in Nigeria and started local production of Always sanitary pads and Vicks throat drops, is stepping up as a force for good and has committed over 90 million Naira worth of a humanitarian package to support the government in combating COVID-19.

The company recently donated over 120,000 hygiene products to the Nigerian Government.
