EINGICE 2026 Conference and Exhibition

…Africa’s Gas Industry Powerhouses Converge in Abuja to Accelerate LNG Trade, Industrialisation and AI-Driven Energy Innovation.

Aradel Holdings PLC, Oando PLC, Standard Bank, NCDMB, NNPC NETCO, PTDF, Portland Gas, Africenergy and Infrastructure and other industry leaders headline the 3rd Emogas’ International Natural Gas-Based Industry Conference and Exhibition, October 28–29.

The Gas and Energy Development Council of Emogas Limited is proud to announce the start of the 3rd Emogas’ International Natural Gas-Based Industry Conference and Exhibition (EINGICE) 2026.

Holding on October 28–29, 2026, at PTDF Towers, Central Business District, Abuja, Nigeria, the two-day conference and exhibition is organised by the Gas and Energy Development Council of Emogas Limited.

With a focus on commercial partnerships, strategic investment decisions, technological innovation and the development of indigenous energy-sector capabilities, EINGICE 2026 is positioned as a high-level platform for advancing practical solutions to the challenges and opportunities shaping Africa’s natural gas industry.

The conference’s principal theme is:“Accelerating Africa’s Global LNG Trade Share and Driving Gas Industrialization Through Innovative and Strategic Upstream Petroleum and Gas Producer Synergies and Investment Decisions.”

Its complementary sub-theme is: “Strategies for Powering Africa’s Entrepreneurial Talent in the Energy Sector Through AI, AIPowered Software, and Digital Solutions—with a Focus on Natural Gas, CNG, LNG, LPG and Green Technologies.”

Together, these themes underscore the urgent need to connect Africa’s abundant gas resources with global markets, strengthen domestic gas-based industries, mobilise investment, deepen collaboration across the petroleum value chain and equip African entrepreneurs to compete in an increasingly technology-driven energy economy.

Dr. Ainojie Alex Irune, Executive Director of Oando PLC and Managing Director of Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, will deliver the keynote address on the conference’s principal theme.

His keynote will anchor discussions around the strategic relationships between upstream petroleum producers and gas developers, the commercial structures needed to accelerate gas monetisation, and the investment decisions required to strengthen Africa’s position in the international LNG market. The conference will examine how stronger producer partnerships, integrated infrastructure development, dependable gas supply, bankable project structures and effective capital allocation can accelerate the development of new gas projects and improve the competitiveness of African LNG.

It will also explore the relationship between export-oriented gas development and domestic industrialisation, with particular attention to opportunities for gas-based manufacturing, petrochemicals, fertiliser production, power generation and other industries capable of creating jobs and expanding economic value. The central challenge is clear: Africa must move beyond the potential of its natural gas reserves to the successful execution of commercially viable projects that deliver measurable industrial, fiscal and socio-economic benefits.
