The Executive Secretary (ES) of NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote received a delegation from the Bayelsa State Police Command of the Nigerian Police at the Board’s Nigerian Content Tower in Swali, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The delegation which was led by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Ben N. Okolo, had DCP Tolani Alausa, DCP. Daniel Iyams, SP Asinim Butswat, ASP Job C. Abraham, ISP Andrew Saul, INSPR Apollos Paul and INSPR Tanko Philip.
The courtesy visit by the Bayelsa State Police Command was for the Commissioner of Police, CP Ben Okolo to familiarize & push for more synergy as well as collaboration with the Board, as this is his first visit since he became CP in the state.
In his remarks, Wabote welcomed and thanked the CP and the delegation for the visit.
He appreciated the efforts of the Nigerian Police in maintaining peace in the state and enjoined them to continue to ensure the safety of staff & smooth running of operations of the Board.
The ES added that the Board recently donated office & IT equipment to the Bayelsa State Police Command and assured the CP of continued synergy and collaboration between the Board and the the police.
