Mr. Peter Obi
A presidential aspirant Peter Obi has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Obi, a former Anambra Governor, was until his resignation one of the 15 aspirants vying for the presidential ticket of the PDP.
The letter conveying his resignation from the party was submitted to the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.
Reasons for Obi resignation from the party is not yet known as the time of filing this report.
The former Governor was heard in a radio programme frowning at the use of dollars at the forth coming presidential primaries of the party due to take place on May 28.
He condemned some aspirants who have been accused of trying to woo delegates through money.
