The PETAN Seal of Quality is a standard introduced by the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) that seeks to eliminate incompetent service providers who do not meet the quality requirements set out by PETAN, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.

In other words, it is a recognized certification aimed at raising the bar on quality service delivery and checking the rising incidence of companies executing contracts that they do not have experience and competence for.

Following a rigorous and transparent audit conducted by PETAN in partnership with Bureau Veritas, Nigeria’s Oil and Gas EPCIC giant; Oilserv Limited and sister Company; Frazimex Engineering Limited received the PETAN Seal of Quality.

Being amongst the first companies to achieve the PSQ certification is a validation of both companies as an elite category of companies recognized for best practices, professionalism and quality service delivery in the energy sector.

The PSQ Certification initiative is a welcome development that will leverage on proven Nigerian companies in terms of quality services. This will in turn help grow capacity in-country that can be used in any part of the world. Indeed, the days of briefcase companies are over.
