NNPC Limited’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Adedapo Segun, yesterday headlined a panel session at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) 2026 Oloibiri Lecture and Energy Forum (OLEF) held in Abuja, Nigeria, themed “Capital Allocation beyond Brownfield vs. Greenfield: Data-driven investment decisions.”
In his remarks, Segun, who was represented by NNPC’s Financial Controller, Tajudeen Karim, highlighted the Company’s commitment to ensuring its data is disciplined, transparent, accurate, and reliable.
While stressing the significance of strong data in understanding and managing the company’s policies on risks, reserves, and returns, the CFO observed that minimizing and managing risks requires data that investors can trust, which also provides a clear view of projects’ sustainability and attracts capital inflows.
