Managing Director/CEO Suresh Kumar disclosed this in an address at a ceremony in Lagos to recognize and celebrate over twenty employees who have worked for the company for between ten and twenty years
The ceremony presided over by the MD / CEO included the presentation of Long Service Awards plaques and other ancillary benefits during the meeting which also have in attendance all cadres of employees in the company
Suresh Kumar highlighted the contributions of the award recipients some of whom are among the company’s first staff members,
“These employees have contributed significantly to the development and growth of the organisation,” he stated
Suresh further noted that the commitment shown by the awardees aligns with the company’s expansion goals pursued over the past two decades, a point appreciated by management
“It is encouraging that several of you have been part of the Company’s achievements over the last twenty-one years. Your commitment reflects NIPCO’s reputation as a preferred workplace and provides an example to new employees,” the Managing Director emphasised
Since its establishment in 2004, the company has seen positive developments, yet there are areas identified for further improvement, especially with the deregulation of the downstream sector.
The Managing Director congratulated the long service award recipients and wished them success in their future roles at the company.
Suresh Kumar also indicated that one of the key objectives of the Human Resources department is to support rewarding careers for employees and promote a supportive work environment.
He added that initiatives such as these awards allow employees to realise their potential within a performance-driven organisation.
Responding on behalf of the awardees, Manager of LPG Operations Khamal Badmus expressed appreciation for the recognition, stating that it would serve as encouragement for continued diligent service and motivate newer employees.
