NAEE/IAEE: Energy Evolution Prospects for African Economies

The Nigerian Association for Energy Economics and International Association for Energy Economics, NAEE/IAEE, will be holding its 16 Annual International Conference from 9th–11th July 2023 at PTDF Conference Auditorium, 2 Memorial Drive, Central Business District, Abuja.

The theme of the conference is: Energy Evolution, Transmission and Reform: Prospects for African Economies

It is an international conference where issues bothering the energy sector will be discussed bringing policy makers, regulators and private sector leaders together to discuss Nigeria’s critical energy agenda.

With a population of over 200 million people and a growing economy, there is need to address energy challenges in Nigeria.

Speakers at the NAEE/IAEE international conference includes: Prof. Yinka Omorogbe (SAN) President of NAEE, Prof. Jean-Michel Glachant, President of IAEE, Engr. Gbenga Komolafe (Commission Chief Executive, NUPRC), Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim, Secretary General, African Petroleum Producers’ Organisation (APPO), Dr. Bello Gasau, Executive Secretary, Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) among others.
