The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, March 11.
In a statement on Wednesday night, INEC National Commissioner for Voter Education, Festus Okoye, said the elections will hold on Saturday, March 18.
Notwithstanding, INEC has concluded arrangement to postpone the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, March 11 before it rescheduled it after giving the nod to go ahead by the Appeal Court to reconfigure the BIVAS.
The polls will hold in one week’s time in March 18, 2023.
