The Women in Maritime and Energy (WIME) Awards had its 5th anniversary edition recently in Lagos. It was a delightful day for industry women in maritime and energy.

One of the women with outstanding performance in both maritime and energy is Mrs. Bassey Adie, a seasoned leader in providing security and energy logistics with over a decade of experience delivering high impact operational and strategic solutions across Nigeria’s offshore sector.

She’s the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of LOYZ Marine Services, an emerging indigenous marine logistics company providing critical security logistics and offshore support services to vessel corporations and energy infrastructure in some Africa’s most complex environments.

Under her leadership, LOYZ Marine has grown into a credible and trusted partner supporting asset owners and operators in navigating the operational and structural realities of Nigerian offshore landscape.

Adie also serves as a Director in Women in Energy Network (WIEN) and Chairman Ethics and Privileges of Ship Owners Association of Nigeria (SOAN); she operates in both spaces of marine and energy.

Adie is a member of the Nigerian Content Consecutive Forum, a committee on shipping and logistics.

She is a pioneer CEO in marine logistics and security space and also a recipient of two time WIME awards in different categories.
